CPR Adult VS Infant

In our junior year we finally get to take our Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course. During this course we will learn how to perform CPR and get our certification. We recently learned the difference between performing CPR on babies versus on adults. For adults, you have to find their nipple line and center it until your palm is just under the diaphragm. From here, place your hands over each other, facing the same way, and interlace your fingers. From there press down at least 2 inches 30 times. Once this is finished, give two life breaths to the victim. For an infant the process is the same except instead of using your palm to pump the heart you use your middle and ring finger. Also for a child if you see a child fall and he or she is not breathing you should got straight into doing CPR, this is different for an adult. If you see an adult fall and they stop breathing you first  call 911 before applying Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
